A few hours ago I received an email from Capcom about my submission for the 25th anniversary celebration. Turns out that they had hundred of hundreds of submissions from over 30 countries around the world. Capcom will be putting together a 64 page tribute artbook using the submissions from fans from all over the world. You can imagine how limited the space in a 64 page artbook would be so your work would have to stand out considerably in order to make the cut! Well, they think that my work would be an "Excellent Piece" for their artbook. That's right I'm gonna be in an artbook! You have no idea how crazy this is! I collect nothing but artbooks and it's mind fucking me that I'm gonna be in one. Especially a tiny 64 page one. I could have not submitted too because I was terribly sick the weekend I was drawing it. Hard work and perseverance has payed off. Now I'm ready to really get my drawing into gear.
